Bl 9/23 specks on the run
 

Hit the lake around 7 this morning to find birds working on the east side landed about 8 or so and headed south to the rocks where the water was muddy muddy duhh "wind" where we picked up a red and a flounder...around 12 we headed to the last spot in west cove where we watched someone get stuck on the flats where they finally got off....ended the day with 14 trout, 1red, and 1 flounder...my buddy wanted to try croaker live so here it was...LOL.

Great job Chris... nice box shot! i talked to a guy this afternoon who said he got stuck on a flat in westcove. he said he got a big red on and wanted to hand the rod to his little girl for her to fight it and got distracted and got stuck on the flat.. dunno if that was the guy yall saw or not.

Inchspinner, Where is this flat at in West Cove. I will be there next week and have not been in WC yet this year.TX

The north entrance on the left hand side as your going in for about a half a mile in on your left and about 100yds of flat from the bank....It wraps around the land on your left as you enter..hope that helps....good luck.
