hog tracks

how do you tell the diffence between deer tracks and hog tracks.:help:

Hogs will have the ground torn up everywhere. Just tracks....prolly a deeper hole, shorter space between em, sloppy. IDK. I always know its hogs when I see the ground torn up near feeders and other food items. Im sure someone will have solid advice.

Hog tracks are shorter and wider hooves than deer. Not very hard to tell the difference once you have seen both a few times. Google pics of both.

Hogs leave hog tracks, deer leave deer tracks. I think you answered your own question there bud. lol

Follow them until you run into something.

Well in mud and across roads, they can look awfully similar. You have to follow the tracks into alil harder ground but once you see the difference a couple of times, it'll come second nature. I track hunt for hog tracks to put my dogs on and I see about a thousand deer tracks before I run across run hog track lol. Sit on a stand and I can't see one dang deer. Go figure.
