Need advice for Land Maps
 
I got permission to deer hunt a new area. Looking for advice on what websites, terrian maps ect you guys use to learn about new property before you hunt. Any help is appreciated.

Google earth is what I've been using for a while. I used to use Terraserver, haven't checked it out in a while not sure if it has been updated.

If its in Louisiana, check out the GIS map and Flash Earth too.

angling technologies is a pretty good site with up todate maps. It is mainly for fishing bit has good maps of other areas.

Google Earth is the easiest and quite good, here is a site I recommend for everyone. You can see topo maps and aerial photos and also see where mineral leases and a bunch of other stuff occur. Zoom into the area you want and click on whatever type of aerial photo or topo you want. This is updated pretty regularly thru the state
