Directions help please!
 

Can anybody help me with getting directions to Ripleys boat launch in Westlake? I was trying to help Rolltide but i cant get the actual "directions" to the launch. ANYBODY?? Thanks

Which launch is Ripleys?

I only know of 3......One is about a mile north of the I-10 bridge on the west side. This one is called "Something" park......could be Ripleys, don't remember the name.

I think there is another boat launch just across the road from this little park. There is a bayou that runs off the river heading back toward Westlake and just past where it goes under the road.....I think I remember a boat ramp there on the north side.....but don't know if anyone ever use it.

The other launch is next to the salt water barrier....never heard a name for this launch.

Two other possibile places would be at the Bridge Point marina.....they probably have a launch. Or the launch next to I-10 on the north side near the sail boat marina.

Ripleys is the launch on the right side of the road just south of the barrier. Take 378 into westlake but don't turn @ the light. keep straight until you get to the 4 way stop by the shell station. make a left. Stay on miller ave. thetre is a public launch on the left side of the road just south of the barrier. Ripleys is directly across the street.
