Big Lake 10-04-11
 

Hit the lake today with a buddy of mine. We had 30 specs by 9am. So we decided to tag some trout. We tagged 77 from 9 to 12 all caught on soft plastics (we had 7 over 5 plus #'s). From there, we decided to hit the top water. Caught 52 with at least 100 plus blow ups. In all a great day on the water. BTW, not a one (1) trout was caught under the birds.....sorry for the pic quality....taken from a cell phone. most fish were caught in west cove.

cool. this is a very sad report. just saying.a little more info would help

On plastics we caught on Sparkle beetles and swim baits (glow). Top water, glow spook jr's and white with chart head. Hope this helps.

you know you should say what kind of line you used, what kind of tshirt you were wearing and what kind of energy drink you drank before you caught them fish, that would help too! but besides that nice catch!!

At first the report said I went to big lake and that was it. Sorry for any confusion.

ASR was not on the lake this week.....he would of blew my cell up

He was on the lake cause I was with Him. To tell the truth in the infamous words of the Congressman from Arkansas, YOU LIE. I don't remember it this way. It was a wonderful trip but I don't remember the trip exaxtly the same way he does.
