The Trout are transitioning but haven't showed up in mass inside, although a report that nice Trout have been caught recently in Lake Robin. Many of my friends who fish out of Delacroix are still venturing outside for Trout and catching nice Trout. A couple of guys I know also hit some nice Trout already in Oak River. I don't fish for R__-fish, I only care to know where they are to stay away from them so I've heard they're still roaming thick there. Resident Trout can be found in the usual inside hotspots, Four Horse Lake, Little Four Horse, Lake Campo, Bay Lafourche, etc., you will have to weed through many small Trout to build a box. It won't be long until we're smoking them inside minutes from the launch, I'd be happy if fishing Delacroix this fall is half as good as last year.

Hopefully you'll get a break Thursday but you will be fishing behind a lot of winds from that front that is coming through. North winds on Tuesday calls for 25 to 30 knots, Wednesday 15 to 20 knots, the water will be down. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the report, that's exactly what we saw. Small trout and plenty reds.
