I trying to schedule two weeks vacation for next year and I know one of you guys can tell me what is the hotest month for specks in the spring and the hotest month in the fall? Thanks

Not a "professional" but I would say april/may and october/november into december depending on the weather.

Just depends on what your after. If its a "hawg", you need to go in May.

If its to go and catch a bunch of fish and even chase a few birds, I would take my 2 weeks in October...

My personal preference would be the middle 2 weeks in October. Awesome fishing, good weather and a nice time to camp or rent a camp.
