Narragansett Bay fishing
2 Attachment(s)
Got some fishing in this week up here in Rhode Island. Received some funny looks and plenty of questions launching the Hewes with a poling platform up here. I caught some black seabass and a tautog on my last trip out. Fishing is much different and not as exciting as topwater speck fishing, but the tautog pulls harder than anything I have ever caught, including amberjack. Hard to get them out of the rocks from 60 feet. Some of the best tasting fish I have ever eaten. If anybody is ever up this way, drop me a line and we can catch some fish. I'm here at the Naval War College until next June. Plan on chasing the giant stripers in the spring. Looking for the elusive 50 pounder.
