We dropped our first pot in the water at 9:00 am. Anchored down to relax and have a beer. Well as soon as we did the wind blew up on us. With in minutes we had 4-6 footers rolling on us in our 20 ft boat. So we picked up and went into a cove and it was on! We caught our limit in under 2 hours. The crabs were in the pot an hour later! They were amazing. The only seasoning we used was the Montreal steak seasoning.

I carry a small can of Tony's every time I leave SW La.
They don't have Red Pepper or Cayanne up there? |

That looks like fun except for the 6 footers in a 20 ft boat.
Thanks for posting the pics. EVO |

Cool. My wife's family is straight east of you, on the other side of the sound. I've salmon fished the Tulailip Bubble a few times.

Nice! I bet they were good

They were good. We were supposed go fishing but we knew the weather was going to kick off early. All in all was a great experience. Except the travel delays and missed connections. We are still in Seattle. Missed our 730 flight then were put on stand by for the 830 didn't make it now we are on stand by for the 11. Hope we make it.

I eat them at Lauberge on Fri. or Sat.
All you can eat seafood on those days. I eat only Crab. King, Soft shell, Dungenes, Stone, Snow, Crab Fettaccine. I get my money's worth, but feel full for about 2 day afterwards. |
