Android Update
 

There is a new system update for the 4G androids called "gingerbread"...:confused:. I used to laugh at the Iphone autocorrest errors until yesterday when i downloaded this app. Now I have that stupid autocorrect. My texts are all jacked up. The only change i can see is icons and some kind of blue shadow when you can no longer scroll. My phone wouldnt let me proceed without downloading this app. it would keep popping up until i said W T F and downloaded it. Any android user find a point to this new upgrade???????????????? PS Iphone users... S tF...U.

Should have got an iPhone...I can say that cause I'm not an iPhone user.

I will say this...IOS updates take a long time to come out it seems they take their time with them...Android (gingerbread) has been in the works but it seems like its less thought out and just thrown out there for a new gimmick to compete with other OS...just my take

You can disable auto correct in the settings. My phone came as a gingerbread and I disabled it on the first day. I type out every letter of every word.




Im on the evo 4g

Home screen> menu...settings....language and keyboard....touch input.....text input.....uncheck auto predict. That is for the evo. Hope that helps a bit.

thanks I have an EPIC sooo it was a little on those lines. I really chucked up some texts yesterday with some vulgar words to the wrong people LOL.

I dont know what you mean about gingerbread just came out. When i got my evo back in May it already had Gingerbread, which means it was already out long before that. The autocorrect does screw you over though.

I could have used this one.

Another cool feature that takes some getting used is swipe.

I used it for a while but turned it off after a couple weeks, it got old quick.

I dont like how it does not allow movement left and right or up and down. Plus it never wanted to get my word right.

My Revolution did an update a few weeks ago and not the screen dont seem as sensitive to touch, it double sends text, and if you click home when you are on internet it has to reboot the browser every time.... I am about to go have alittle chat with someone cause I paid to much for this crap not to work
