Hunted with the paw-in-law and one of his friends this morning. Except for our shooting "abilities", it was one of the best quality hunts we've had their in a long time (duck wise). Plenty of geese in the area but the specks where still acting funny. They worked great just never wanted to drop altitude. Prolly had 7-8 bunches circle and work but only got one group down to a good level and knocked our 2 out. Ducks were a different story, they would appear like magic with wings already locked. Numerous groups of mallards from which we should've got our limit, but didnt. Same thing with pintail, but would've had our limit of those had we not lost 2. Plenty of greys and occasional spoonie. Saw very few teal. Had one group come in and we dropped a pintail, grey, and a spoonie. Dont see that combo very often. After losing a few we ended up back at the camp with 15 ducks and 2 specks.

On a not so happy note, I think my ole huntin buddy is about done. Today was pretty rough on him even though he was pretty excited. He gladly and slowly went and got everything he saw fall but the ones he didnt see he had no desire to put out the effort to find em. Guess he's ready to be a yard dog.

Time for a new one!!!!!

Because you held your camera phone up and down instead of sideways. When you do that you need to rotate the pics on your computer.

Fixed um for ya.

Any hunt where you kill a combo of ducks and geese is a good one in my book. Nice job

They were up and down on my computer. Thanks for the fix though Paul.

Very nice! How old is your dog?

PaulMyers 11-18-2011 07:37 PM

How were they taken? Camera Phone? Was it up and down?

That's the only time that I have seen pics post sideways like that, Actually a regular camera will do the same thing. If you did in fact take pics on a camera phone or a camera up and down, to me the question would be why they showed correctly on your computer without you having to rotate them.

I'm  now! lol

I'm just as confused as you Paul. I took em with my iPhone in the normal upright position. I even checked em once I put em on the puter to make sure they didn't need to be rotated. The rest is SC history

Haha, would love to. Wish I knew when his replacement is getting released from the medical research center so I could try to start teaching him something.

He was with us Brian. He's been hangin around the camp with Larry the last few days. Think their marsh doesn't have much water.
As far as the dog goes, I had his replacement when I posted about looking for one. Since he had health problems I wasn't sure what I was gonna do with him, bad part is I still don't. The wife is attached to him and I don't need 3 labs. He gets to see the vet again next week so it's about to be decision time.
