Wasn't as many birds as I expected flying around this morning. Ended up finding 15 and lost at least 5. A little rusty on the shooting but that was expected. Mostly woodies and teal with a few mallards and one hoodie. The best part about it was making a hunt with my son and ole man. Don't get much better than that!

It looks weird but it gives it a good taste, good mix of sweet and salt.

Ain't nothing like browning some teal in a black pot and makin a nice gravy. Looks awesome! My favorite thing to do now is make a gravy with the leg quarters of a specklebelly. If you cook it right that is some fine eating

That's a good idea. Especially since one of my favorite ways to eat specks is to grill the breasts.

I like to get em deboned, stuffed, and then bake em. Very hard to beat
