11-25-11 PB Trout on Big Lake
 

After getting stuffed on smoked turkey in Baytown yesterday, I planned to go wading this morning. Had a friend back out so I went solo. Hopped in the water around 6:50. I fished from a foot and a half of water to almost 3 foot. Water looked great. Threw a pink Corky Devil with a couple of swirls and one taker. Thankfully longcast let me borrow his boga, would have been interesting trying to land this fish otherwise. Only caught one, but you don't wade trying to catch a limit. Fish was CPR'd and happily swam away. Sorry for the pics being a little fuzzy, couldn't stop shaking from adrenaline!!! Fish was under the 6 and over the 5.5 on the 60lb boga, so I'm gonna call it 5.75 :D Beats my best by almost 2 pounds. She was FAT!!

Nice catch man.....shoulda gave me a ring being in baytown yesterday. Coulda hopped in and fished Trinity Bay with us. They've got some big'uns in there right now.

Was kind of a last minute thing, was there from 1 to 4 for dinner, then drove back. I got waders and a belt, hit me up next time you head out. Enjoying the heck out of walking around in water haha
