11/29/11 Night Time Cold Weather Killa

Hit my night time honey hole around SIX oclock and started chunking my favorite X RAP and nothing but BLOWUPS after BLOWUPS...No takers...Went through jerk jrs, sparkle beetles, and a few others and nothing....Threw on a gulp pearl shrimp under a 1/4 oz yellow mouth and it was on....fished for three non stop fish catching hours by my self caught at least 50 trout, 20 or so sandies, and 3-4 limits of reds and left them biting....due to work related duties in the morning....none the less had a blast with my self tonight even though I broke a rod on a red....oh well:

Another great night on the lake during the week to satisfy my fishing cravings.

Tightline11 11-30-2011 08:55 AM

Nice fish you got there and Prien has always produced good at night and you don't have to stay super late either. Never used top water always used a swim bait.

Inchspinner, That x-rap- is that a jerkbait or top water? If a jerk bait- floating or suspending?

SaltyShaw 11-30-2011 07:42 PM

X-Rap Walk is a topwater plug, they are expenisive but the paint is supposed to hold up way better then the skitterwalks and other top water plugs. The holograhm is internal so you will always have that. Its got a mean nasty stinger hook on it DEADLY lol http://i170.photobucket.com/albums/u...m/xrapwalk.jpg

trophytroutman 11-30-2011 09:31 PM
