Sawmill in Louisiana??

I need to make my mantle piece. I need a 8x10 piece of cypress ripped in half. Really don't wanna use a chainsaw.

Tim, there are 2 or 3 over here if you can't find something closer.

Just let me know if you need the names of some.

place in port barre i think.. Dont remember the name

The dude in Port Barre is the best. Deals in cypress mostly if not exclusively. He is on Hwy 190, east of PB, on the right. Cross the tracks and his office is clearly marked as "office" when you pull in. They could probably do it while you wait. Sorry, I don't have his number. Also, some of the cabinet makers around Lafayette may be able to cut it for you also.

There is a guy with a big saw on Milton road going towards Maurice after the milton middle school on the right. Most of his business is mantle and big wood couloms.
