coyotes

I have an open invite on a friends property near oberlin to reduce their coyote population. They dont give leases as it is family land, but they deer hunt and said they have a coyote problem and did not mind if I help them control predators.

Any of you coyote hunt? Any recommendations on reasonably priced coyote calls? Which is better, manual or electric? Never been to the property but plan on going several times this holiday season. Don't know if its woody or open. Advice and recommendations are very appreciated.

Speckabelly call is good.
Kittens in a cage are better.
If I am not working, I can help.
Right before sunset is best time.
I hunted them in Cameron/Creole area for years. They are a sucker for hungry kittens.

the electronic calls are effective.....bait live or dead is effective also....good spot lights @ night....and advise the powers that be there will be night time shooting (if @ night of course)

I can get the kittens..... if the wife don't find out. Got a neighbor that has 2 litters running around their yard. The older ones are roaming the neighborhood some now. I [my wife] also has some small stuffed rabbits....... hang it from a stick or limb. If the wind is not blowing, tie some fishing line to it and give it a little pull to make it move.

I also have several different mouth calls to call the yotes.

Lets make at trip up there and kill some yotes.

They are thick behind the house now. Just started hearing them back in October ish.
About like the hogs.. never had a problem until last year.. now we have yotes..
Anything we don't have in the little burns?? Lol
