Headed out in morning looking for ole split toe. Herd bucks are chasing so I have got to see it for myself. I'm still trying to get my first wall hanger so wish me luck. If I shoot another spike I'm mounting it cause that seems the best I can do these days. Lol.

They were chasing big time last weekend on our lease. We are maybe 10 miles from the southside of jackson bienville. Good luck!

I didn't kill but I saw two bucks chasing could not get a shot. Missed a doe in the rain,damn cheap simmons scope fogged up. Since we left last weekend there have been 8 bucks and 9 does killed.

We only killed on small buck while we were there. Saw another one running a scrape line, but could not get a shot.

Did hear several shots almost every day. They were still working the scrapes when we left Friday. Plan on going back Christmas day for a few days if nothing happens.
