It's that time of year again people.
BREC has stocked 4 ponds in the B.R. area w/ rainbow trout.
The ponds are located at the following locations.
Forrest Park on Harrels ferry rd.
green wood park in baker
the burbank soccer complex on burbank dr.
flannacher rd park in zachary.
Great time to bring the kids and let them catch something they don't usually have a chance to catch.
Limit is 4 pp but catch and release is allowed.
There will be a trout rodeo at green wood park this saturday from 9 am till noon and at forrest park this Sun from 1 pm to 4 pm.
There will be an adult and childs division and prizez will be awarded.
Also tagged trout have been released in each pond and if you catch one of these tagged fish please record the info . when, where and what caught on . size if you have a way to measure and report the info to BREC.

They are stocking them in the park and community ponds in Texas right now also. May have to try it one afternoon. I'll probably head to Peckham park in Katy.

Head to the grocery store & stock up on the canned whole kernel corn!
They will take the limit off sometime in early spring cause they die when water warms up

That's some good eating fish might have to check this out
