new to site

I just bought my first boat and i wanna know what kind of bait is good for 210,I10. I just wanna put some fish in the boat. The only kind of fishing i've done is bank fishing.I live in the moss bluff area.Ya'll have any helpful suggestions?

Flip through the inshore reports section. I10 and 210 areas are known as lake charles and prien lake.

Several have been doing well on 1/8 and 1/4 oz jig heads with gulp shrimp. Yellowmouth makes a great jighead, available through guys on this site as well as lct or the tacklebox in sulphur.

Tko shrimp have also been producing under a cork. Fish the channel dropoffs, or look for birds. You can never go wrong with norton sandeel jrs or jerk jrs made by reaction strike. Glow with a chartruese tail is usually always a good choice. My next colors would be east beast, and nat shrimp.

Good luck to you. There is a ramp under the I10 bridge, 210 bridge and prien lake park. Tight lines!

Be sure to get a trolling motor, and use it.
I see boats with $1000 trolling motors on the front, and they don't use them.
Waste of money if you don't use it. Waste of time too.
Every day I fished the past 3 months, boats come up to us on main motor and shut down, drop anchor and expect to catch fish.
