4-Wheeler trip?
I know there a lot of guys on here with bikes so I was wondering how many of yall make trips to ride? I have a few guys that go ride some of the state trails and maybe we could plan a trip after the first of the yr to get together and make a big ride.... so what do some of yall think, anyone have some good places to go Louisiana, Mississippi, or Arkansas?

Theres a place just north of Sulphur thats pretty fun to tear up. Off high hope road. got two water pits. havent been in a few years but its pretty big. da coon arses come out da woodworks in that place. IF you just wanted to do something small before the big ride.

Sounds like fun. Used to ride a lot up north of Moss Bluff. There's a place in Converse too right by Toledo.

I make several rides a year at Cravens, Forest Hill and in Sandstone, just north of Leesville.
If y'all ever want to get a ride together and I'm available, I would love to go. |
Is that place in Topsy still there where you pay like $5 or so to ride? And you can ride the trails down to the river and take a dip then keep ridin.

Rode in Texas once, don't remember the name but it was a fun ride.

only bad thing there is if you ride state trails you have to have the riders course and the tag to prove it

Drop bikes off at Mae's Beach and ride to the Sabine Lighthouse at the mouth of the river.

You can go from Mae's Beach all the way to the light house.
When 3 wheelers first came out, we usta do that in the spring. Also, you can drop at Rutherfords Beach and go all the way to Cameron, or almost all the way to Mermentau River. At one time, the mouth of the Mermentau was right at the end of the Rutherfords Beach road and Hackberry Beach Island was on the other side. We would float the 3 wheelers across the river and ride on the island beach. Now the mouth of the river closed off and you can ride anything down the beach. No matter what people will tell you, the first 150 ft of beach from the water line inland, is public beach. |
