what's my motor worth?

I have a 2002 3cylinder, 25 yammy with 40carbs, reeds worked, and exhaust work with low hrs. I sold my boat and am thinking of selling my motor so what's a good price.

If you find the right person that knows how rare they are I would say 2500-3k

Wish I had the extra cash to blow....that is a damn good motor.

People in Arkansas that hunt Bayou Meto are extremely fond of fast 25's.

I agree on the 1500-2000 range. If you want to sit around and get 3000 for it, then it may just be an expensive dead weight. It is close to a 10 year old motor. You have to realize people who know how to work on those motors are gonna nickle and dime you for a bottom line price. And unlike other commodities, your motor is not gonna bring you a better price the longer it sits.

This ^^^ and Jonesboro Craigslist as well as what Fool said. Arkansas duck hunters HAVE to have em they are hot up there. Whatever the value here is, add $500 to it. They have restrictions up there and can only use 25 hp motors and the 3 cyl yammies and suzukis are hot items

That motor may not be of value to you and me, but to guys that hunt in an area restricted to 25 hp that have to outrun others to their spot a motor like weedeater's is in high demand. The only options for a new motor that are worth anything is the 25 etec and for the price of that motor you could put a little with it and get a hopped up 3 cylinder yamaha that will run circles around it.

Y'all are creating a monster. He already wants top $ for his stuff. He thinks because it's been owned by Jason Andrus it's more valuable. Only W gonna be able to afford this motor.
