I was encouraged to post my report also. We fished in many of the same places as jsmoke and ended up with 14 trout 3 reds and 3 flounder. The weather man missed the wind prediction again.

Ray 09-03-2009 04:53 PM

They don't have all the symbols I need on this computer.
It's the kind of math that I forgot about after HS and College.
Tangents and Cosigns... That kinda crrrap.

Gerald 09-03-2009 07:28 PM

That math......is that Rise / run ??????

Side opposite / tangent ?????

This info still can come in handy sometimes.

Ray 09-03-2009 09:05 PM

If you are ballasting a rig or platform, it comes in handy.
The math ain't that bad, it's all them dang formulas and abbreviations...
Free surface moments, transverse moments, VCG, KG, buoyancy, KGT, KGL, chain/cable tensions... That kinda stuff.
