second time being scared offshore
 
well second time in 20 years offshore that i was scared.weather got bad at 3am thunder lightning started.warterspout hit at 405 didnt last but 15seconds but longest 15seconds whole bulding shaking dint thing my building was going to stay on platform.second one to hit my platform not a good feeling.but im still selling oil lol

Had that happen one time with a water spout. Ripped porch off living quarters and opened doors on sleeper. Not a way to wake up for sure!!!! Bet you shatted a little bit

I just hope Ironman never works offshore......then we will get cat 5 tournados weekly

No but, is mommas brothers sons girlfriend whos sister got nailed by a chuck norris lookalikes lil brothers friend who showed up at tacco tuesday works at a Shell station behind the register next to the gulf coast. Im sure were in for some storries about his oil fiels exp. :smokin:

I got scared on the helicopter one time.
Never while on a patform or rig.

had one hit the rig i was on about 10 years ago... remember it like yesterday!

I been on a platform several times that got hit by a tornado.
When we had the old style, big satalites, they would fold up like clam shells.
Twice our tool buildings got blown apart. One was a metal building, one was a fiberglass building. Tornados pulled the walls and roof clean off the metal building.
