i heard the same thing about the size. Buddy in klondike ran his traps last week and got to trap number 263 and caught less then a pound. It will pick up though.

You got a special hook up?

ScubaLatt 01-27-2012 05:03 PM

heard that the drought pushed them deeper in the dirt and may be less crawfish this year. warm weather may help along with the recent rains

"W" 01-27-2012 05:12 PM

I heard they got the "clap"

Keith_Stone 01-27-2012 05:22 PM

Crawfish dont come out the ground until Chuck Norris tells them too...

southern151 01-27-2012 05:28 PM

I predict they'll all have pinchers this year.

Ducktrickster 01-27-2012 06:04 PM

I predict that I eat close to a ton. Sounds like i'll start Saturday night. Right Goldenrod?

Lake Chuck Duck 01-27-2012 06:07 PM

How's this for a prediction, I will be eating some I The near future.

Top Dawg 01-27-2012 06:15 PM

Will be some reason to drive the price up higher than last year. That's my prediction.

saute86 01-27-2012 07:19 PM

We won't start having them on the buffet at Lauberge until mid March. We will have them for $30 to $35 all you can eat depending on market price. Most restaurants are selling them for $25 to $30 a platter thats on about a $5.99 a pound average cooked. Farmers say price won't come down any time soon due to drought and fuel prices.

Asterisk-Rich 01-27-2012 07:41 PM

Y'all gotta come down on this end to get the big crawfish.
