Stuart Simoneaud, Will Caufman, and David McCrory from Lafayette fished with me today. We knew we had a window of opportunity to put the hurt on the fish before the weather got to us, and we did just that. Our first couple spots had 31 fish on ice but nothing fast and furious. I decided it was time to go and check one of my old honey holes...and boy did it pay off!!! We started slinging in the yellow mouths one after another. We were right up to 60 trout when the sky fell in on us. We decided to pack it in and head to the dock. Great time today busting up the fish with my crew. We caught on a variety of baits today, from swimbaits, sparkle beetles, and avocado Matrix shad. No one bait worked better than another today. Big thanks to my crew for getting the job done in adverse condition's.

nice job capt good to see the trout are still biting making me wish i wasn't going to work but i'll have 3 days off at the end the month will have to sling some of those fish
