Gasket question

I am looking for the gasket that goes around a boat hatch, not sure what its called but the style I need is for an Xpress boat and is "c" shaped to slip over aluminium and has a peice of round gasket that's glued on top of that. I was told that I can order from Xpress but would rather buy local if possible. Thanks Jason

I had to order from Xpress when I had mine. I looked all over & couldn't find it. I called every gasket company here & we have a few with all the plants down the river. One of my best friends is a salesman for one of them & he couldn't find it.

tried the google serch already but no luck and on the Cabelas site that is different. The seal I need slips on sideways and the round part faces up.

It's called hatch seal. Look on the donavan web site they deff have it. You might have to order it at a boat dealership as I think donavan is wholesale only.

You will have to go to a boad dealer. They usually sell it by the foot. I actually bought some at Boats Unlimited in BR for my first Xpress.

He's already been told this and even talked to the xpress rep at the boat show. He told him how to order and measure it. You can't fix stupid.

Go ahead and shed some light that I waited two yrs for my motor to be rebuilt. That has nothing to do with you and your gaskets. :-p
