I have them. they are great. They get very slick when the tread starts to wear down. Worked in a garden center that sold these and I would wear them for work, sprinklers kept it wet. Comfortable on the feet. Sams used to sell them in a different brand called Lewis and Clark, but were the exact same thing. Not sure if they still sell them or not, but price was cheaper

did they make your feet to warm, that would be good in the boat if they don't make your feet too hot

They can tend to warm your feet a little.

Looking to find something for the garden/yard and fishing

I have the ones that come up over your ankle a few inches. I can still slip them on and off without any effort. They are a little warm, but very comfortable.

At Chastant's Feed Store in Lafayette they sell them for about 60 bucks.

jchief 02-17-2012 11:42 AM

Looked online and can't find them Corey

I did too, must not have them anymore. They are about a third of the price for the same thing. Greengate used to sell the muck boots, but I called them and they dont anymore.

Ray 02-17-2012 01:21 PM

I keep a pair of them in my truck.
GOt them at Sam's about 3 years ago.
I like them.

Duffy.yyz 02-17-2012 01:39 PM

I have heard of people taking a grinder to the bottoms of old crocs, tread like new!!!

mriguy 02-17-2012 01:41 PM

I wear Shimano boat sandals. Love em!

Micah 02-17-2012 02:50 PM

Look up Drake Low Top Mudders.

boots

Have a pr of Lewis & Clarks. Love to have another pr but can't find them--they don't have them at Sam's either. They were cheaper than Muck's but essentially the same. Too good to be true I guess. Very easy to slip on and off and keeps your feet dry from early morning dew, etc. Muck's are a very good product but are pricey. I have a pair of Arctic Muck knee boots for duck hunting and they are very comfortable and keep you feet warm.

jlincecum 02-17-2012 09:03 PM

I have the next level up. the ones that come up above the ankle. great around the camp when its wet and very comfortable. Also hunt in Muck knee boots, best I've ever used.

jlincecum 02-17-2012 09:05 PM

all of mine have either came from G&h in gueydan or Bowies in Baton Rouge

H2OFwlKlr 02-17-2012 09:27 PM

Mucks are great, have to get a new pair every couple years, only because I wear the heck out of them. I get 'em at our local feed store.

Chief, they are perfect for what you want them for.
