false river
 

Went to false river yesterday and walked a few piers . Male bass are looking for nesting sites or are sitting on nesting sites . Caught 6 bucks w/ 4 being over 14. They would pick the lizard up and move it 3 feet or more.
Had one fish i must have pulled the trigger on 10 times or more and all it would do is shred the tail of the lizard. switched to baby brush hog and finally stuck a female . Maybe 3 lbs and about to pop w/ eggs.
Catfish are getting ready to bust wide open after this full moon.
Real nice blue cat were being caught in a few spots on a "morels special".

there's plenty of fish there. I know of 1 7lb and 1 almost 9lb that have been caught this year . Full moon next Thursday. There should be some hawgs caught begining of next week

Bob.....try a 4" fry in punkiseed or watermelon with a 1/0 hook & 1/8oz or smaller slip sinker with 8lb test & work it SSSSLLLLOOOOWWWW!!! ;)
