Need Some Input
Well guys looking for input, Ive got 2201 Mako and the dry storage area is not so dry, looking for reccomendations on what I could use to possibly form some sort of seal between the lid and hull. I've got a "fishbox" in the floor also with the same problem water just seeps in when it rains. There is really no seal on the lids, something I missed when I bought the boat. Any advice would be appreciated.

If its horizontal, you can get this from Xpress, Weldcraft or maybe from a travel trailer dealer or boat shop

Or some closed cell foam tape. Run by the hardware store. They are sold in rolls that vary in width and thickness. Clean fiberglass with acetone on a rag before installing to get the tape to stick really well. Good luck.

Here's what I did on my neighbor's boat. There was a raised lip underneath the lid. I ran a bead of 3M 5200 Sealant on top of the lip. After it set, I put another on top of that to build it higher. Water never got in there again. I don't know if this will work as well with you not knowing your setup. But, that 5200 will stick to snot.
