Went down to the creek yesterday to work with my dog a little more. He made about 20 +/- jumps after his favorite stick. Worked him on hand signals and whistle. I have to say, I'm very impressed with this pup.

Took some pics from m iphone, quality is not that great, but ya'll get the idea.

Nice, he is looking good J!

Ray 03-05-2012 02:39 PM

You needta get him a dummy(not a Jordan).
That stick gonna make his mouth hard.

Jordan 03-05-2012 03:00 PM

i know, it was a spur of the moment thing. I have 4 or 5 of them.

mcjaredsandwich 03-05-2012 03:15 PM

Nice lookin' dog there Jordan

PUREBAY2200 03-05-2012 04:08 PM

Heck ya dude!!
I'm glad he found a good home with ya!!
How much does he weigh??
Claire is 60 lbs
Smallest of the litter from what I hear. But that's ok because Hershey stays between 85-90.
2 of the males are 90+
2 of the females are 80+

Drake is 76.5 lbs as of last week. He is a beast and can run a retrieve from a dummy launcher in 18 seconds flat. Dummy launcher launches them about 80 yards +/-.

He loves the water and every chance he can get, he's swimming.

Hey guys watch out working your dogs this time of year. Years ago a friend and I were working a dog on the Contraband Bayou and watched an alligator eat his dog.

mriguy 03-05-2012 07:07 PM

Nice looking dog!

Slidellkid 03-05-2012 09:16 PM

That is a really nice lookin dog Jordan. I'd like to have one that looks like that. He really has a nice block head.

He looks intense too, I like that in a dog.

Jordan 03-05-2012 10:28 PM

Shawn, no program. Just started from scratch. Nothing to go by as in books Or such. Just talked and praised him when he done right. Kinda built my own dog so to speak. He's not the best at anything, but he works hard. No test trials. Just want him as a hunting dog. Raymond, no banjos. I had my .40 cal in my QuickDraw. Dan, u can come by and see him, let me know when. Thanks for all the compliments everyone

Awesome pics bud! Looks like he's having a blast!

specktator 03-06-2012 12:08 PM

Nice Pookie! I just got another male black lab and named him Drake. Had female I got my little girl for Christmas. Put her in the back yard, woke up next morning and my 9 year old yellow was laying under the carport. He had pushed the gate open. No pup in sight. Put out flyers, the whole nine yards. Someone must have stolen her. Just picked up a new one Sunday.

Jordan 03-06-2012 12:49 PM

sorry to hear about your luck. I wish you the best of luck
