Wish I could say, aint fished hard all week. This full moon should have them full blown on beds, but reports still have been having fish deep, and some shallow. I'm going to be running it hard once the rain slacks. We were catching decent on spinners, and jigs. I'm just ready to get in the marsh!! |

Hearing the water is up in the marsh, prob wait a week or so to wait for the crowds to die down a bit. But yea I am getting kind of pumped

I read on the refuge site that the water levels are at "pool". Said its 8-10" higher then last years opener. This was posted before the rain yesterday and we got more rain coming in the next couple days. |

Passed through Belle City drain ditch last week and water was even with the spillway. Fishing the jennings fire dept. tournament with my nephew opening day.
