Pox, its all paved roads not far from downtown, no cypress trees and lots of 2&3 story homes with docks in the water. I'm sure someone has a picture. |
Where did you find those old pictures? Are they from a website?
|
Wait, that is Chicago.
Here is the best I can do right now. I know I have seen a couple of pics somewhere else Dang it, zoom in on A and look around. That is the same area. Sorry, move to the southwest, where shellbeach meets lake and look around |

I will try to get the file from her, but she isnt done compiling... Once complete, I will figure a way to share the file will anyone who is interested... Hydro |

Can't find the pic I am looking for.
The original picture is from the southwest side of the lake looking towards the east/northeast. This pic is on the north side of the lake looking back to the southwest. Same area as the original except from a different angle. http://www.bestldsplaces.com/wp-cont...Charles-LA.jpg I am planning on going to LC later today and I will try and remember to snap a picl |
The tall white building on the left in the original is the same one on the right in the last pic I posted and it is center frame on Hydro's

I'll try to find the ones from when F Miller & Sons blew up the old wooden 171 bridge coming into Moss Bluff. When I find them I'll post them in a new thread.
