Westfork, 3-10 short trip
 

Finally got to meet "Fool" today :D...

Nice day to get out of the house for a couple of hours...

Caught a few small bass, like in the pic... Should have brought ultralight rig as the bream were doing thier tap, tap, tap thing on the jig trailers....

All fish caught on black/chart jig with trailer... Tried red/black, blue/black, white/red, and solid red but nothing would commit... Water temp 64 on average, color was stained between rootbeer and Killians Red...

Really nice out, no wind, fished from around 1030 to 1300 hrs...

I will be on the Sabine side, need to do some pre-fishin' :rolleyes:... May go today, but watching the weather...

I'd like to go the Sabine but I have to do a quick trip if I fish at all. The wife wants to plant a garden this yr. If it don't stop raining I won't be able to till up a spot.
