Boat Trailer Refurbishing
4 Attachment(s)
I took on the role to re-furbish this old boat trailer for my 13.6' jon boat.
Went from a split axle, blown out tires, 1 and a 1/2 of a fender, 1-25/32" tongue hitch, rotted bunks to the pics below. Done most of this over the weekend. Re-welded the axle, all fenders, installed kinda new tires, to get it rolling again, new 2X4X8' treated bunks with new marine carpet and installed a new 2" tongue. I have reason to believe this boat trailer is from the late 40's to possible the early-mid 50's. Notice the coil springs and shocks for suspension along with a "2 link". Whats ya'lls input ? Any suggestions ?? |
