Dropped the boys at school and did a little perch jerking the am. The wind was a MF. Didnt find them till after 1pm. Had to be back for 3pm. Caught them in about 45 mins. and left them biting. Caught 8 sacs, 1 bass, 1 chouxpique, and 4 bream. Caught them on a blueish grey bodied white tail jig with a chartruese head. Going to head back tomorrow in the am. Does anyone know the name of the guy in westlake that makes the crappie rods and ties jigs. I was given a rod and 1 of each of his jigs for Xmass years ago. Finnally used it today for the first time. Talk about made a difference. I need to buy all his jigs....lol.

That chouxpique and the bass was a hell of a fight with a crappie rod.
