Ascension Parish Tornados

Thoughts and prayers go out to those affected in Ascension Parish by the tornados today. One missed my other dad's house by the width of a 2 lane road and one barely missed a middle school. Gonna go toomorrow see what I can do to help out. As far as I know everyone is ok.

Let me know if there is help needed. I haven't went to see what all happened but, I figure, unless they ask for help, I'm gonna stay out of their way.

From what I've been told, HWY 621 got beat up pretty bad by Prairieville middle.

Yes Pville middle area got smoked. Some people off Duplessis got a big hole in their house. There are some broken gas lines they're fixing down there by Pvilla middle so I couldn't go see if my other dad's house was fine.

I live off hwy 42 going towards the amite river...one passed about 1 mile West of my house. Did some damage from what it heard. The Ascension parish PD had that area blocked off.

Hope everyone was ok.

That is the area the ascension pd haf blocked off. As stated, I am about 1.5 miles from the school. Seemed like it had a north to south path.

Yep. Never know how truly lucky you are. One touched down about 1/2 north of my house I think in 09 and destroyed a woman's house off of Weber City and went north and tore up some houses up towards St. Amant High School.

Are you by Ascension Pony Cars?

all star rod 03-21-2012 05:33 PM
