Shimano trevala rods
Shimano tekota, bait runner reels
80lb+ power pro

4/0 Penn Senator with a 4 ft, helicopter rod, or a 1/4' rope hand line. I only offshore when working. Don't clown the hand line until you do it, pretty fun.

Shimano Stradic 6000, and an ugly stick. 60lb power pro, 20lb flouro leader

I have some of the PENN combos that you buy from Academy for 90 bucks.

60 lb line. Have not hooked onto anything that spooled me yet.

Dont fish for ajs but for cobia and red snapeer I use a Shimano stradic 8000 and for mangroves a penn 560 slammer. One on a shimao rod cant rember name and one on a penn power stick. 80lb power pro and 50 lb flouro leader for cobia and red snapper and 30 lb for mangroves.
