Incredible action today as the trout and reds were eating up like there was no tomorrow once the front passed through. Dave Wilson from kerrville Tx and his best friend John Richey from Houston Texas flew in yesterday in Dave's plane and were not leaving without getting their fish!! We let the front pass and headed out at noon. We found the trout stacked up at our second stop as you were getting a bite or catching a fish everycast. Solid fish up to 19 inch's today as there was no measuring any fish. Double rigged Avocado Cocodrie Cocahoes and Avocado Matrix Shad was what the fish wanted as usual. The new High Life Tackle double rigs got the job done as the hooks are razor sharp. The bite slowed with the tide so the guys were ready to battle some redfish. We hit the redfish hole finding pretty clear water. The reds were a little finicky but we still ended up with 9 hitting the deck. TTF KFM's in black/chart, purple/chart did the trick. It was a great time with the guys as they are die-hards!! Great fisherman, great company, box of fish, what else can you ask for? Thanks again guys and look forward to your return.
Good thing for Swamp Swatter as the gnats were out, as there was no wind at all
