Easter Bass

I was able to get another decent bass on the bank yesterday. I caught it on a red wiggler under a bobber. I was actually fishing for bluegill with light tackle, so it was a fun fight.

I'm guessing they spawned up there? That is a big head!

I think so. I caught one off a nest in the guy's other pond last weekend. I guessed it at around four pounds when I caught it.

That lady was hungry!!!

YellowMouth7 04-16-2012 01:31 PM

That fish needs to eat

calcutta37 04-16-2012 03:16 PM

That pond might need more food for the fish...

Goosepond Monster 04-16-2012 03:20 PM

There is plenty of food in the pond. I am thinking that it is a female that had just spawned and that is why it looks so skinny.

Nice catch.....thanks for the "Northern Report"...
