whiskey preference

What is your whiskey of choice? Nothing like a little Evan or makers for me

Finfeatherfur 04-11-2012 09:36 PM

The wife and I go through 1 Jim Beam bottle every week, and I am not talking about a 5th!

I like Makers Mark and JD also, but Jim Beam is more economical!!!!

SpeckWrangler 04-11-2012 09:38 PM

I have only tried Jim a few times I ring makers to be very smooth. I like to try differnet stuff

Knob creek. Or crown

southern151 04-11-2012 09:41 PM

Was once a big rum fan. Had stuff imported from all over the Americas. Now days, for me anyway, its any whiskey/rum that doesn't enter me. One day, I just didn't drink it any more without being instantly slammed and hurt for 2 days afterward.

blackmamba 04-11-2012 09:43 PM

Makers or crown

mriguy 04-11-2012 09:44 PM

Makers Mark and Knob Creek. I'll also partake in some Red Stag from time to time.

"W" 04-11-2012 09:49 PM

Markers Mark

SpeckWrangler 04-11-2012 09:53 PM

I have my times I wont drink for a few months and then times ill drink a few times a week. This is the first bottle of makers I've bought. I usually buy crown but I think I like the makers better.

How many here drink straight up versus mixed? Not me I know that.

Gentleman Jack is good and their single barrel is good stuff also. I just opened up a bottle of single barrel last week.

Still, if I had to pick a go to, it would be Seagrams 7, which is great for the price.

BassAssasin 04-11-2012 10:01 PM

Makers and gentleman jack. Ice and a dash of water. Old charter and diet coke if I'm being cheap

jdm4x43732 04-11-2012 10:03 PM

Crown or Grey Goose when I do drink it. Hurt too much after a good night of it, doesn't happen often.

DUCKGOGETTER 04-11-2012 10:03 PM

Makers or bookers

SGib 04-11-2012 10:05 PM

Potters crown is my ranch trip whiskey. Cheap and taste real close to crown.

meaux fishing 04-11-2012 10:11 PM

Blanton's is some good bourbon. It aint cheap though.

Armand16 04-11-2012 10:12 PM

Jack n honey or red stag honey. With coke it's too sweet but on the rocks with a hit of water it's just right.

SULPHITE 04-11-2012 10:12 PM

Knob creek crown....favorite right now sailor Jerry's rum.

LPfishnTIM 04-11-2012 10:33 PM

Crown black, Southern Comfort with coke. I'd rather drink beer, my lastest thing to be drinking too much of is Sir Perry's hard pear cider, its a little expensive, taste good and definitely has a little kick too it that can be easily underestimated. I've been drinking woodchuck too but it aint got nothing on Sir Perry's Hard Pear cider. sorry got off subject!!
