rod socks

Any of you use rod socks? If so, brand and likes or dislikes.

Thanks

Jude I use them. I got them from the tackle box they are the stick jacket brand. I like them because I do not have tubes in my rod boxes and they keep the line from getting a tangled up.

Same thing Bruno said, stick jackets make life a lot simpler

Yep, i ought a be a stockholder in that place. Free shipping on orders over $50, can't beat it

I use them too. I get mine at Academy. Also wrap my good reels with a cover when traveling. Out them in my rod holders when fishing. Pay to much money for them to have them beating around. It's like throwing a nice gun behind the seat without a case.

I have the tubes in my rod lockers, and it makes it 10X easier to get them in and out without damaging or worring about catching the eyes pulling in or out. Ive covered my reels for the last 20 yrs even before reel covers came out, to keep sand and or dust off or out of them. Like said before i spend to much money on them to destroy em. Ive got some calcuttas going on 10yrs that look like new.
