http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/g...3rd/017-13.jpg http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/g...3rd/015-17.jpg Good times today with Glynn and LP Pellegrin. LP started us off with a nice trout on his first cast just at daybreak. You never know if catching a fish on your first cast is a good sign or bad!!!! Well we picked away at the trout, but never had a fast bite. We made a move checking on another location only to have a few flounder hit the box. Back to our first stop and we moved around a bit and found a decent bite. Glynn got on a roll slinging some nice fish up to three pounds in. Once the wind really kicked up and the seas got up to almost a foot the bite was done. We tried a few protected areas with no luck, then switched gears to Plan B. Within the first 10 minutes we had 2 reds hit the deck. Moved around hooking into another big brute, then the lockjaw set in. We beat the banks hard for a good hour with no luck and my crew threw in the towel. Avocado Matrix Shad did all the damage on the trout except for the first fish that hit the glow/chart Cocodrie Cocahoe. For some reason we could not buy a bite on the Avocado Cocodrie Cocahoe while Capt Travis was right next to us slinging them in on them. Them fish are something!!!! All the reds fell for the LSU Hackberry Hustler rigged on a gold spinner. Thanks guys, as it was a pleasure meeting and fishing with you guys.
