Talon Installation Help

Anyone out there install a Talon, or for that matter, a Power Pole on any of the Blue Wave Tunnel Hull models, in particular the 1900 STL? Due to the motor offset, I'm not real sure if Minn Kota offers an adapter to enable mounting. I'm looking for some suggestions or photos of installations to help me out.

Thanks in advance for any help you all can provide.

Here is a picture of the bracket Minn Kota makes. I ordered it straight from them. DHP Marine installed it. Very well made. 1/2" thick and reinforced with strong back. Much thicker than any other brackets I saw.

Thanks for the photo, helpful to see a bracket mount. But, my concern is with the location of motor and transom on the 1900 STL. The motor/transom is recessed approximately 19". The Minn Kota adapters don't appear to work. Already thinking I'm going to have to do some type of customized bracket. I'm attaching the overhead shot of the boat to give an idea of what I'm talking about.

You'll probably have to bolt it straight to the transom.

Definitely gonna have to mount to transom, no way any bracket will work IMO

Thanks for the input. I'm goin to have look real close to see if I'll have the clearances I need.

If they made one that long that booger would flex a ton....shaw had his to the transom and I have mine to the transom and have had zero problems with the install.

Thanks again for the input. I'm going to make this work. Too many good comments about having a shallow water anchor system.

They make transom bracket that are 6" long to give you add clearances for trim tabs
