Tent / Table & Chairs for our Charity Tournament & Donations

We have priced a tent, table & chairs with several comapnies in the Lake Charles area for our Charity tournament on August 4th, 2012 at Calc Point. The cost will be in excess of $1,000 and this will come directly out of the pockets of they money we would pay to our Charity. I do not want to see us spend that kind of money and take it away from the local kids we would be helping.

We are looking for a tent from 20-30 foot by 30-50 foot in size and anywhere from 45-75 chairs and also tables for the chairs.

Any help that you can give would be appreciated and will benefit Southwest Louisiana children.

Lastly we are accepting donations to help raise money for this event anything someone feels comfortable donating from money to fishing equipment, services, etc... any and all help will be appreciated. We are asking for help from our site sponsors and all members.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have and thanks for your support.

Our charity this year is the Saint Nicholas Center for early intervention which helps autistic children. As most of you know one of our long standing original members Josh Lincecum son is a student of the center and tuition is very expensive.

I can round up some things for the silent auction and get them to you well in advance of the event.

When we put on the CCA Legislators event in Fourchon the local Budwieser dist. supplied the tent in exchange for selling the beer. They might donate it if they have one. Just a thought

Wife and I will donate a few items for silent auction. Just let me know who to get them to and by what date.

Someone out there has some connections... Step up guys, this is a big deal concerning the amount of money to the charity.

Check with some of the oilfield vending companies for a tent. I know around home KCS & Talens will usually let people borrow their tents for events, it gives them free advertisement.

Casey, you may want to contact Billy Navarre Chevy in Lake Charles. I know they got a big tent, and he likes to sponsor stuff.

I have a Men's DU watch that I spent way too much for at Hackberry DU dinner that I will donate for the silent Auction. Must of been the Crown laced Potato salad that kept making me raise my hand.

May have a framed print as well. Can't remember what it looks like though.:help:

That is awsome, thank you. I want to bid on that myself.
