the people who go to a garage sale the evening before while you are setting up to try and eat everyone?

Got a neighborhood wide garage sale, and last night there were people all over trying to buy stuff while we were putting out stuff?:help:

For the record, my involvement in this lasted about 30 minutes last night. I know for a fact that half of the stuff wife will sell today is pretty much 'mine', but somehow someway she will get every dime of the money:rotfl: Am I right?!

Ha, me and the kid are about to skip out for a little while and take the dog swimming or something. Maybe wife will buy us lunch with 'her' money:rotfl:

They call em early birds. I saw a sign in the neighborhood advertising a garage sale and it specifically said "NO EARLY BIRDS!"

If you want to keep the "early birds' out.....Put up a sign...... $ 10 early entrance fee.

Then collect the money as they approach or when they try to buy something.

That 50 cent item now cost them $ 10.50.

If they say.... "this is ridiculous".....tell them, then why are you here a day early.
