Wilderness Club in Lafayette ?
Is this the only place around Lafayette for skeet shooting? I checked their website and prices seem ridiculous. $250 a year and $8 a round. The last place I shot at (in another state) dues were $25/year and $3 a round. Must be the sport of kings around here.

$125 a year in lake Charles. Wilderness is a nice facility though

I have shot a bunch of charity tournament over there. It's right by my house. Went about a month ago. Very nice place, but a membership is pretty expensive from what I hear.

They have a couple near me. One on Hwy 697 and another one north of Kaplan somewhere. I dont know the names of em either sorry

GOL is the one off of 697. Not sure of the prices though. Their website is
www.golshooting.com . Their price is $400 a year and $.25 per target. For non members its $.40 a target. |
Skeet
Don't quote me but I think the Wilderness is the only place around Lafayette that you do not have to be a member to shoot, unless it is a event.

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm better off investing in two traps. They will pay for themselves in 2 years. A number of my friends in Lafayette come over to shoot pistols already and the neighbors don't mind.

Theres a range you can join in Araudville for around $125/year and I beleive they have a spot for skeet skeet'n
|
They also have Eds Sporting Goods south west of Kaplan, has some pretty good stations there also, but don't know about memberships. I've shot there a few times.
