Mitchell Guist RIP!
According to the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office, one of the stars from the History Channel's show "Swamp People" died Monday morning.
According to Sheriff Waguespack, Mitchell Guist was loading something onto a boat around 9 a.m. in St. Martin Parish along the Belle River when he slipped and fell. The Sheriff says it appeared he had some sort of seizure, but it is uncertain if the seizure was caused from the fall or something else health related. Guist was taken to Teche Regional Hospital in Morgan City where he was pronounced dead. Officials will have to wait until an autopsy is performed before an official cause of death can be announced. |
Very sad, he went out of his way to be very nice to my kids at the boat show this year.
