Unable to see pics

I have been on this forum for a few years. When I first joined, I could see pics in the text, without clicking a link to open them, which I must do now.

I know allot of changes have occurred here, since then. I must admit, I am not a daily active member. Just come to visit from time to time.

I see the "Premium" option which is now available by financial contribution, and I am thinking that maybe why I can not see the pictures in the text, and must click to open, as I am not "Premium".

Am I correct?

I searched and could not find any verbiage that speaks to this occurrence.

which internet browser are you using?

jchief 05-15-2012 09:43 AM

To my knowledge, being Premium has nothing to do with being able to see the pictures. Sorry, but that is as much as I know on the subject.

It is not a function of Premium Membership only. Everyone should be able to see the pics in threads. If you are talking about the 4 random pics that come up at the top of the page, that is an issue with the site that has not been worked out yet.

This is true. Alot of times it has to do with the software (internet browser) you are using to view SC. udates and newer versions may cause an issue or possible compatiblity issue....

No ~ I am speaking to any pic, in any thread. The pic is not embedded, I see a link and click the link to open the pic in a new window.

And then hit the back button to return.

Nothing has changed on the pics, the site is programmed the same as it always has been. Premium has nothing to do with the pictures.

Premium membership turns your screen name to green, helps the site grow and pay for bandwith, and allows you access to the gill net, sports bar, etc.. It also alows you to be a part of the larger raffles that take place on the site. Right now we have a $100 Bass Pro Shops Giftcard raffle.

Not sure, but the same since Oct 2006.

I have not updated it, that I know of.

No big deal, thanks for your input.

BananaTom 05-15-2012 10:32 AM

I will try it from my home computer, which is brand new, and see if it matters.

This is my work computer, which I do not update, as I have several custom programs that I run. I do not want to upgrade to a new computer and incur costs to make the custom programs compatable.

I Like to take my breaks from work, and surf.

PaulMyers 05-15-2012 10:36 AM

Download Firefox and see if it works with that browser.

SULPHITE 05-15-2012 10:37 AM
