top dogs/bomber question

Hear alot about top dogs, Jrs, and she dogs. I own a hand full and have caught fish on them. Anyway, I Was bait shopping and found a box of random bait on sale. There were some "bombers" Which look exactly like the top dogs. So i picked up a couple.

Is there any difference between the two? Besides price.

Thanks in advance

I threw one Monday they are just about the same, but hooked about a 2 or 3 pound trout. The hooks are very weak. Didn't have any other hooks to change them out so took it off. It probably would be a good idea to change them out.

Yes the first time I threw a bomber I had the same thing happen. Change the hooks before you lose the fish of a lifetime

Thanks for the terrible news guys... haha. Guess with the price of swapping hooks I mite as well pay for the top dogs. Or just catch schoolies.

What do y'all expect for $1.50? ;) Those "Bomber" topwaters are made in China for PRADCO. They are not made by the same people that make the Badonk-A-Donk or the line of Spooks. They are certainly not PRADCO quality, but, as cheap as they are.....they are worth the money. Bomber needed a bait that would appeal to the people that refuse to pay $6-8 for a topwater bait. Put some #2 VMC trebles on 'em and they'll catch all the fish you can haul to the launch.

I picked up a couple at cabelas the other day for .99 each in the bargain cave. I mean you just can't pass up that kind of deal on a tw no matter who makes it.
