Started fishing around 3:30pm made a few stops in the bay going out to T Butte. Never made it 1/2 way. Pogies where being busted all over the area. Fished black/chartreuse on 3/8oz on the bottom...slowly. In 2hours had a limit of really nice trout.Attachment 34768

I shouldn't do this but.......I was in sight of the camps at the point. Burned less than 1 gallon on my 200hp; ate up alot of battery voltage though.....

yeah, thanks a lot for that. I always post where I go in the hopes that it will help someone catch a fish. I'm a begginer at this, and posts like that help me so much to learn new areas, of course, that's why I'm a member of this site...to learn.

Thanks Meaux...I think those trout stay in the bay all year....They are sure darker than Gulf run trout.

I wonder if that has to do with what they are feeding on? Like that bird the roseate spoonbill, that some people think are flamingos, get that bright pink color when they eat a lot of shrimp or crawfish

Tomball Tiger 05-18-2012 04:53 PM
